The Role:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team and take ownership of their professional development within a dynamic Financial Technology environment.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work with an innovative open banking platform that is transforming the industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our solutions, contributing to a seamless financial experience for our users.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts for our in-house loans and savings platform.
• Support integration testing to seamlessly incorporate third-party components into our financial ecosystem.
• Optimize and refactor existing automation scripts to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects and system issues, working proactively to ensure resolution.
• Perform end-to-end testing across web, mobile, and Salesforce applications to maintain product quality.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts to drive efficiency and improve testing accuracy.

The Ideal Candidate will:

• 2 to 5 years’ experience in QA Testing
• Worked on Automation tools like Java, Selenium, Jmeter.
• Experience with Robot framework and worked on IDEs such as Eclipse, VS Code.
• Project/Test management tool JIRA and AIO.
• Proficient in activities such as designing & documenting software test cases and automated scripts in languages (JAVA) OR Python.
• Experience working in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Cross browser/ cross platform testing.

Further Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experienced with writing queries using MySQL.
• Familiar with tools like postman, SoapUI and browser stack.
• Follows best practices and testing standards
• Performance, load and stress testing
• Security testing.
• Bachelors Degree in: Engineering, Scientific, IT Computer Science, Business Information Systems or Mathematical degree.

• Languages: Java, Python, SQL Framework: Robot Framework, Appium
• OS and Servers: Linux, Windows, Apache
• Databases/Storage: MySql8.0
• Tools: Jenkins, Docker, Eclipse, Visual Studio code, Maven.
• Working with API’s, microservices and transformations.
