Role Summary

Renmoney is seeking a strategic, innovative, and experienced Product Manager responsible for the development, management, and strategic positioning of wealth management and private banking products, ensuring tailored solutions that grow assets under management, drive deposit mobilization, and meet clients' sophisticated needs. The Product Manager balances client-centric innovation with compliance, profitability, and competitive differentiation, supporting the bank’s growth agenda in premium and retail segments.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, launch, and manage wealth management and private banking products including fixed deposits, bonds, commercial papers, and high-value savings accounts, tailored to individuals and SMEs.​
  • Conduct market research, assess customer needs, and analyze competitor offerings to inform product strategy and pipeline.​
  • Monitor product performance metrics (growth, adoption, profitability, cost of funds), regularly reviewing strategy to ensure AUM and revenue targets are achieved.​
  • Collaborate with digital, compliance, operations, and sales teams to ensure products are secure, scalable, and regulatory compliant.​
  • Support relationship managers and sales teams with training, tools, and product information, enabling them to drive growth and cross-sell across the bank's premium client base.​
  • Develop product roadmaps, prepare business cases, and manage regulatory submissions and approvals for new products and enhancements.​
  • Drive customer engagement initiatives, ensuring superior client experience and retention in private banking channels.​
  • Lead quarterly product reviews, ensuring internal process alignment and continuous improvement around client satisfaction and portfolio profitability.​
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Economics, or allied disciplines); professional certifications in wealth management/financial planning are advantageous.​
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in product development or relationship management, ideally in wealth/private banking or financial services within the Nigerian.​
  • Strong grasp of financial market trends, regulatory frameworks, and wealth management instruments relevant to microfinance and premium banking.​
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in digital product analytics/tools is a plus.​
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver client-focused solutions and grow profitable product portfolios.​
