We’re looking for a Payment Operations Analyst, a customer-facing role focused on managing the end-to-end payment processing workflow while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The role also contributes to improving payment systems and delivering a seamless, high-quality experience for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire payment processing cycle, ensuring all transactions are executed accurately and on time.
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve discrepancies or issues related to payment transactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance payment systems, workflows, and practices.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of payment processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide exceptional client support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth payment resolutions.
  • Support the implementation of new payment methods and technological solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist the Payment Operations Lead in preparing monthly reports and driving process improvements.
  • Handle second-level verification for cheque verification and loan disbursement processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field with 1-2 years of experience in payment operations or financial services. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and derive insights from data.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across teams.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A proactive problem solver with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Hybrid work set-up: 2-3 days per week in our BGC office; remote the rest of the time.
