We are looking for a reliable and experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in our Government & GLC Vendor Financing vertical. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth disbursement, compliance, and collection monitoring for financing solutions offered to SME vendors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-versed in financial products, and experienced in managing operational risk in a financial institution or non-bank financial institution (NBFI).

What you will do:

  • Oversee daily operations, including application review, KYC/AML compliance checks, disbursement coordination, and fund collection tracking.
  • Ensure end-to-end operational integrity of financing transactions such as factoring, term loans, and revolving credit.
  • Monitor repayment schedules, liaise with internal teams on overdue follow-ups, and support recovery efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails in accordance with regulatory and internal SOPs.
  • Act as the main liaison with credit, legal, finance, and collections to resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Guide and support junior team members in operational processes and controls.
  • Drive continuous improvements in process efficiency, documentation quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial institutions or NBFI operations.
  • Strong understanding of SME lending products: factoring, term loans, revolving credit.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting or Finance.
  • High attention to detail, process-oriented mindset, and strong teamwork ethic.
  • Able to work independently and mentor junior staff in a collaborative environment.
