Role summary
We are seeking a Narrative Strategist to play a key role in brand storytelling, and copywriting, shaping clear, engaging, and culturally fluent narratives in Cantonese across Futubull's marketing, product, and brand communications in Hong Kong. He or she will also contribute in delivering brand storytelling for moomoo, the international platform. Possessing English copywriting skillsets and experience will be an added advantage.
What you'll work on
- Drive campaign ideation and storytelling across omni-channels (OOH, Digital, and OLV, on-ground activation, etc) delivering end-to-end creative concepts
- Own Cantonese-led narratives that bring Futubull brand to life for the Hong Kong market
- Turn financial complexity into simple, compelling stories that build trust and engagement
- Help shape and elevate the creative standard and narrative craft of the in-house team
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience as a copy-based creative within creative agencies or in-house brand/marketing teams, with demonstrated seniority at Senior Copywriter, Creative Group Head or Associate Creative Director level.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring junior creatives, providing clear creative direction, feedback, and craft guidance
- A strong portfolio, preferably but not limited to finance categories, that demonstrate high-level conceptual thinking, campaign ideation, and Cantonese writing craft, rooted in Hong Kong culture and audience insight.
- Demonstrated ability to concept and write performance-aware creative, balancing brand storytelling with channel-specific thinking to deliver ideas that drive engagement and commercial impact—while remaining firmly a creative role focused on ideas, narrative, and craft, not media planning or data analysis
- Ability to architect brand systems and tone-of-voice frameworks
- Hands-on experience in filmic storytelling and production, with expertise across TVC, digital films, and social video content, from idea development through execution
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate, defend, and sell creative ideas to senior stakeholders and leadership
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Chinese. Spoken and written.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, finance, or other regulated industries, with an understanding of how to balance creativity, clarity, and compliance
- English copywriting proficiency and experience working bilingually across Cantonese and English campaigns
- Working knowledge of AIGC tools and AI-assisted creative workflows, applied thoughtfully to ideation, craft, and production efficiency
