About YouLend

YouLend is a rapidly growing FinTech that is the preferred embedded financing platform for many of the world’s leading e-commerce platforms, tech companies, and Payment Service Providers. Our software platform enables our partners to extend their value proposition by offering flexible financing products in their own branding, to their merchant base, without capital at risk.

We are owned by the leading Private Equity company, EQT, and have grown +100% year-on-year since 2020. Our headquarters are based in London, and we have just opened our newest office in Berlin to accelerate our growth in Germany. By 2027, YouLend expects the total fundings in this region to more than double through new and existing partners. As a result, we are looking for exceptionally talented and self-motivated individuals who want to build a career within the company.

Your Role & Impact

As the first line of defence in our customer journey, you play a critical role in ensuring financing applications are accurate, complete, and ready for decisioning.

Your primary goal as a Junior Credit Eligibility Analyst is to review, validate, and quality-assure applications to ensure they meet YouLend’s minimum requirements. You will process high volumes of Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) applications from thousands of German businesses applying for financing through partners such as eBay, Amazon, Just Eat, Shopify, and Stripe.

You work in a structured way with data and documentation and contribute to making sure applications are ready for further processing by the Credit Decisions team, which determines how much customers can borrow. This includes reviewing business customers’ sales patterns, ownership structures, and company activities. At the same time, you help ensure that applications are processed quickly and correctly—without compromising internal processes or good customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and validating large volumes of financing applications
  • Assessing business sales patterns, trading  ownership structures, and company activities
  • Ensuring each application meets YouLend’s minimum requirements and internal credit guidelines
  • Preparing and packaging complete, high-quality cases for the Credit Decisions team

A key component of this role is the German-language focus. You will work extensively with German bank statements, analysing large volumes of financial data to identify and extract invoice-related transactions. This includes:

  • Locating and verifying customer invoice payments
  • Identifying merchant activity linked to invoicing
  • Accurately capturing and structuring relevant financial data

Profile:

  • Analytical Focus: You enjoy working with data and possess high attention to detail
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Excel is a prerequisite
  • Hands-on Mentality: You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with daily deadlines
  • Languages: You communicate confidently and professionally in German and English

Nice-to-have:

  • Industry Experience: 1+ year experience working with KYC/KYB, quality assurance or transaction monitoring.
  • Experience in the field of SME financing in Germany, ideally with Cash Advances.

Our Culture

At YouLend, we work in an environment that fosters personal responsibility and excellence. Our culture is characterized by:

  • Team Spirit: A strong, transparent culture – we stand up for one another.

  • Agility: A data-driven way of working with a focus on speed and minimal bureaucracy.
