Job Description:

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support client onboarding, help set up and maintain advertising campaigns, and assist with a variety of digital marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on position where you’ll learn the ins and outs of local SEO, paid ads, and client success.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding new clients, including setting up and verifying Google Business Profiles (GBP) and ensuring NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency.
• Support the creation, monitoring, and maintenance of Google Ads campaigns (and other ad platforms as needed).
• Perform basic campaign QA: check budgets, targeting, negative keywords, and tracking.
• Conduct basic research to support digital marketing strategies (keywords, competitors, directories).
• Assist with presence-building tasks: submitting clients to directories, ensuring websites are indexed, and setting up social profiles.
• Collaborate with the team to execute ongoing digital marketing initiatives (SEO, paid ads, content, and reputation management).
• Provide responsive support to the customer success team when clients need small updates.

Basic experience with:

• 0–2 years of experience in digital marketing.
• Familiarity with Google Ads and/or Google Business Profiles is a plus (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail — indispensable.
• Good communication skills — able to provide insights clearly.
• Comfortable learning new platforms quickly (Google Ads, GBP, social ad managers, etc.).
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice to Have (not required):

• Experience with other ad platforms (Facebook/Instagram Ads, Microsoft Ads).
• Basic knowledge of SEO or local marketing.
• Familiarity with tools like Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, or CRM systems.
