The role

Support the business in Mexico and in the current and future digital markets in the implementation of the growth strategy, ensuring that the characteristics of the next product are clearly defined, prioritized and then adapted and delivered by the different development delivery teams according to the business objectives.

This role will be based in Mexico with responsibility for projects across all MX Business areas.

The responsibilities

What will you be required to deliver in your new role?

·       Be the main contact for MX Business IT projects, with Features Teams, and Business Stakeholders as support in terms of initiatives, requirements, and any clarification to have a reliable source between both sides and make the communication efficient.

·       Plan together with MX business areas the next projects for middle and long term with the aim of having an internal roadmap to follow and make things happen.

·       Facilitate and assist MX business requirements creation together with all MX business areas to have the same understanding of projects/products delivery and to give a clear definition of what and why for the different Feature Teams to deliver value.

·       Confirm the priorities and implementations of MX features and upcoming products within the different Features Teams and Business Stakeholders.

·       Contribute to the MX product vision and roadmap to have aligned country and global goals to go to the same direction with the aim of adding value in the different functional areas inside the company.

·       Act as customer voice to assure that the MX business requirements add value for the final user and be aligned with the business objectives.

·       Identify all the stakeholders involved in each MX project/product development to keep a straight communication and give clarity as much as possible during all the feature lifecycles.

·       Manage stakeholders’ expectations by giving proper information and updates about the initiatives statuses and delivery dates to provide certainty and avoid misalignments during the requirement lifecycle.

·       Participate in the different refinements from the Features Teams if some input from business side is needed to facilitate the requirements clarification.

·       Organize together with the different Feature Teams demo sessions to demonstrate the result of each initiative with the aim of having the result as expected for all the stakeholders.

·       Identify potential improvements and/or risks during the requirements lifecycle to avoid rework and deliver them in time and according with MX needs.

·       Constantly monitor and report on progress and status of features to the MX business areas

·       Identify the areas for improvements and recommend the proposal of changes to ensure the optimization of change management processes and business processes.

·       Evaluate the results and achievements including identification of lessons learned and share feedback between different MX business areas and Feature Teams to improve the ways of working.

·       Explore new trends connected with the market and propose new solutions to implement together with the MX business areas to plan smart and consistent product growth for MX and identify appropriate opportunities to maximize sales.

·       Gather pain points and ideas from the different MX areas to identify potential improvements and review the feasibility technically speaking.

·       Ensuring MX country knowledge transfer between MX business areas, processes and the different Feature Teams.

·       Understand, estimate, validate, and measure the benefits (business value) of MX initiatives.

·       Provide facts, metrics, and insights from data as input to the MX business areas to identify potential improvements and prioritization.

·       Treat this business like it is your own.

Knowledge & Experience

-        Agile development/ delivery skills.

-        Project Management skills.

-        Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deal with people at different levels within organizations.

-        Influencing, verbal and spoken English.

-        Commercial acumen, demonstrating a strong, creative analytical approach with attention to detail and ability to articulate thoughts & solutions in a logical manner

-        Ability to work with minimal supervision.

-        Ability to manage activity and deliver value to multiple projects at the same time

-        Advanced Project Management tools such as JIRA.

-        and negotiation skills.

-        You will be culturally aware and skilled at operating with colleagues on an international level, foreign language skills are desirable. 

-        You will demonstrate knowledge of Project Management principles, practices, techniques and tools.

-        You will understand proficiently all phases of the project lifecycle.

-        Understanding of Financial Services industry and workings.

-        Agile approach.

-        A proven track record of delivering high profile, user-oriented solutions in a fast-paced environment.

-        Leading Projects in a matrix environment.

-        Successful delivery of international projects.

-        Continuous improvement experience (Kaisen / Lean Six sigma.

Qualifications

-          Degree or equivalent qualified to IT Project Management.
