About Team
You will join the IPF Digital Internal Audit function, supporting organisation’s technology landscape across multiple international markets. The team provides independent assurance over technology risks, helping the organisation operate securely, responsibly, and in line with regulatory expectations.
Working closely with senior technology leaders and risk teams, we focus on strengthening governance, cybersecurity, and digital resilience while supporting the company’s ongoing digital transformation.
This role is based in Warsaw, with responsibility for initiatives across all IPF Digital operations and markets.
Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action:
Technology Risk Assessment, Audit Planning & IT Assurance: Conduct technology risk assessments to identify key areas of exposure across IT governance, cybersecurity, systems architecture, cloud environments and digital platforms. Develop and execute risk-based IT audit plans that prioritise the most significant risks and align with the organisation’s technology strategy and regulatory landscape, including DORA. Deliver high-quality technology audits in accordance with Global Internal Auditing Standards and ISACA guidance, providing independent assurance that technology risks are effectively identified and managed and that controls, processes and configurable systems operate effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement: While maintaining independence, build trusted relationships with senior IT and business leaders across IPF Digital and the wider Group, acting as a strategic partner who can challenge constructively and influence improvements in technology risk management.
Insight & Reporting: Translate complex technical risks into clear business insights—producing impactful audit reports that highlight root causes, provide actionable recommendations, and support informed decision-making at senior levels.
Technology Assurance Advisory: Provide risk and control insight during system development initiatives and digital transformation projects, ensuring security, resilience, and compliance considerations are embedded early in technology delivery.
Communication and language skills: Communicate confidently and clearly in both Polish and English, adapting your language and style to suit diverse audiences. You’ll facilitate collaboration across international teams, ensuring shared understanding and smooth delivery across markets.
We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:

Professional certification in IT audit, risk, or information security (such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CRISC), with CIA considered an advantage.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, cloud environments, technology governance, and regulatory requirements impacting financial institutions.
