With Intelligence is a leading provider of data intelligence and insights for the alternative asset management sector. We are investing in our Sofia operation and are seeking a talented and experienced HR Manager to join our team.

Our global team operates in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, which requires swift adaption to the constantly evolving business needs.  

The HR Hub and broader People Operations team are the foundations for the wider People & Culture team service and delivery.  As the main face of HR and first point of interaction for most employees with the HR team, everything the People Operations team does impacts employee experience and our HR brand.  Currently the team comprises a mix of global HR Administrators, Regional Managers & Generalist, Payroll Specialist, Reward & Systems Specialist.

The Role

As part of our ongoing growth, we are investing in expanding our Sofia, Bulgaria operation and are recruiting a regional HR manager to join our global HR team.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of the company’s global People strategies across the region, ensuring the smooth functioning of global HR policies and implementing HR procedures supporting the entire employee life cycle. This includes employee engagement, on/offboarding, benefits management, organisational development initiatives, and everyday employee relations support such as Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs). You will provide vital support to local management while collaborating closely with the Global HR team to ensure cohesive HR operations.

To succeed, you will need to be highly collaborative and keen to support employees at every level, with a customerservice approach. You will draw on your strong background in global HR service delivery to provide proactive and practical solutions with professionalism, while ensuring the whole team remains aligned. 

Initially a standalone position, this hybrid role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and team expansion over time.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide HR guidance and support to management and employees across the region.
  • Help build out the HR Shared service model and delivery through the People Operations Team.
  • Drive the employee life cycle efforts, including onboarding & offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regional labour laws and regulations and develop HR policies and procedures as needed.
  • Support global training and development initiatives to build organisational capabilities and support career development.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration to maintain competitive and fair practices.
  • Act as a conduit on HR issues, between regional HR and global HR strategy, using sound judgement and escalating as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team on global HR projects to foster a cohesive workplace culture.
  • Manage general enquiries (via the HR ticketing system Freshdesk).

  

  • Proven experience working as an HR Manager in a shared service model for an international company is essential
  • Proven experience and understanding of HR best practices and trends, handling a range of HR processes and employee queries
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, with demonstrated experience in employee relations and conflict resolution, including performance management and organisational development.
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and MS Office suite.

  • Ability to navigate in fast paced, high-growth organisations and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and process efficiency for the benefit of our stakeholders
  • Professional HR certification is advantageous
  • Credibility and gravitas as a strong problem solver with sound judgement
  • Ability to analyze and present HR metrics and reports to identify insights.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
