We are currently looking for an experienced Treasury Specialist with previous accounts payable experience to join our existing team in Mumbai and shape the future of global commerce with MODIFI!

YOUR IMPACT

• Daily hands-on management of all Treasury functions, including optimising liquidity, FX exposure and funding requirements, managing drawdowns and repayments on our bank facilities 
• Monitor covenants in real-time, ensuring that daily payout volumes do not breach facility concentration limits
• Prepare liquidity forecasts with a weekly and monthly outlook, including engaging with Transaction Managers to ensure forecasts are realistic 
• Manage relationships with banking partners, ensuring any queries are resolved quickly and accurately
• Ensure monthly reporting is prepared timeously and accurately. Identify ways in which reporting can be further automated and made more efficient.
• Identify gaps in current treasury workflows and implement controls/process improvements to reduce manual intervention and operational risk
• Timely and proactive response to specific payment requests (not received or rejected payments) by resolving any issues together with our banks
• Support the finance team with bank account management, bank balance reconciliation and other ad-hoc requests related to payments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
• Minimum 3-5 years work experience
• Exposure to Lending Facilities: Strong understanding of complex lending facilities, preference for experience with cross-border trade flows.
• Familiarity in working with different banking or payments systems
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of SWIFT payments and system
• Preference for experience in working with international counterparts
• High integrity and reliability in delivery are critical in this high impact role
• Proactive, accurate, strong attention to detail and well organized
• Strong communicator in liaison with internal and external stakeholder such as banks
• Able to work in fast paced and dynamic environment and to deliver consistently and on time
• Advanced skills in data analysis and Microsoft Excel are required
• Fluency in English, both spoken and in writing is essential
