Team Scope
This role leads a multi-market Growth Data Analytics organization supporting the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, working closely with data engineering/data platform teams to scale global metrics, governance, and analytics capabilities.
Role Summary
This position will elevate market-level analytics into a scalable global growth analytics system. The leader will standardize growth definitions and measurement, build experimentation and incrementality practices, improve data analysis ability & delivery efficiency, and drive measurable impact on the KPI metrics.
Responsibilities
Growth KPI & Growth Operating System
• Own and continuously optimize a global growth measurement framework centered on Paying Client and AUM, including a complete funnel and leading-indicator “metric tree” across acquisition → onboarding/account opening → funding → trading.
• Lead high-impact growth problem diagnosis and translate insights into actionable strategy (channel mix, funnel conversion optimization, customer segmentation, and lifecycle strategy), partnering cross-functionally to execute and iterate.
Experimentation & Incrementality (From Correlation to Causality)
• Design and operationalize a multi-market experimentation and incrementality measurement program (A/B tests, holdouts, phased rollouts, geo-based tests, quasi-experiments), evaluating the incremental impact of marketing, product, and lifecycle initiatives on Paying Client and AUM.
• Establish standardized experiment design templates, evaluation standards, power/contamination controls, and a consistent review/retro process to improve decision quality and learning velocity.
Global Metrics Standardization & Self-Serve Analytics
• Lead the development of global metric definitions (Metric Dictionary / Semantic Layer) and governance mechanisms (data quality monitoring, lineage, reconciliation, permissions and auditability), reducing cross-market definition drift and reporting disputes.
• Partner with data platform/engineering to productize analytics (core dashboards, self-serve reporting, metric services), materially improving turnaround time and reducing repetitive ad hoc requests.
Multi-Time-Zone Matrix Leadership & Talent Development
• Lead and develop a distributed team of market analytics squads; implement a consistent operating cadence (OKRs/QBRs, weekly business reviews, experiment reviews, post-mortems).
• Build a robust talent pipeline and capability standards (hiring, coaching, performance management), enabling a “global methodology + local insight” model at scale.
Compliance, Privacy & Cross-Border Data Collaboration
• Partner with Legal/Compliance/Privacy to ensure analytics practices meet multi-jurisdictional requirements (data minimization, access control, auditability, data residency and cross-border restrictions).
• Design practical measurement approaches that remain effective under regulatory constraints (e.g., local computation with global aggregation).
• 8–15 years of experience in analytics, growth analytics, or data science, including 3–6+ years of people leadership; proven experience leading cross-functional, cross-region, or matrixed teams.
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries (brokerage, wealth management, fintech, digital banking, payments, credit card), with a strong understanding of onboarding/KYC, funding flows, trading behaviors, and how risk/compliance constraints shape growth.
• Strong measurement and analytics foundation: funnel analytics, segmentation and lifecycle analytics, experimentation and incrementality, and marketing effectiveness measurement.
• Advanced SQL; working proficiency in Python/R for analysis and prototyping; strong understanding of data warehousing/lakehouse, instrumentation/event design, BI, and core data governance principles (no requirement to build pipelines, but must partner effectively with engineering).
• Excellent stakeholder management and influence: ability to translate complex analytics into clear business decisions and drive cross-functional execution.
• Strong English communication skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-time-zone environment.
Nice-To-Have
• Direct experience driving Paying Client and AUM growth for a brokerage/trading or wealth platform, with quantified outcomes.
• Proven track record building a global metrics system, experimentation program, or Growth Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) from 0→1 or scaling 1→N.
• Hands-on experience with privacy and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, data residency/cross-border constraints) and practical implementations.
• Product mindset in analytics: experience building self-serve analytics, metric platforms, or experimentation platforms that materially improve delivery efficiency.
• International growth experience, with an understanding of channel ecosystems and localization differences across North America and APAC markets.
