Your Mission

We are seeking an experienced Global Card Schemes and Payments Manager to join our team and help ensure smooth collaboration, growth and compliance with international card schemes. This is a key operational role, suited for someone with a strong background in online payments or card networks, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to navigate both structured daily tasks and larger, cross-functional initiatives. This is a dynamic role that ensures to propel the candidate’s growth trajectory in the global payment landscape. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in high-paced environments, is highly attentive to details, and approaches responsibilities with ownership and consistency.

 Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with global card schemes and payments-related partners, managing day-to-day tasks and ongoing communication
• To lead and coordinate implementation projects involving card schemes, ensuring alignment across teams on a global basis
• To lead, manage, and ensure execution of submission and oversight of PCI-related reports, Payment certifications (i.e., 3DS), and compliance statuses
• Oversee and manage various card scheme-related registrations and projects
• Maintain and administer connectivity and ongoing implementations with card scheme portals
• This is a dynamic, cross-functional, and key role in working with some of the key payment schemes such as Visa, MasterCard, China Union Pay, JCB, American Express, Discover, and other local smaller nimble players. This role is a stepping stone in gaining an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the payment space with one of the largest global payment Acquirer, Nuvei.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the card schemes or online payments industry
• Understanding of card scheme operations and Payments overall, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
• Proven experience in payments with initiatives such as PCI DSS processes and requirements
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks in parallel, with high attention to deadlines
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-demand environments; ability to remain calm and deliver results under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft formal correspondence
• Proactive mindset – ability to identify issues before they arise and take initiative
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working with documentation and portals
• Technically capable — comfortable working with online platforms, admin portals, and spreadsheets
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments and functions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to pursue creative solutions that result in getting things done.
• Professional fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage
