The Role
As a Team Lead in the Payments team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our Payments Platform. Reporting to the Engineering Manager (Hungary-based), you will lead a squad of 6–8 talented engineers, balancing technical leadership with people management.

Your primary focus will be to:

  • Run the team effectively: Lead agile ceremonies (daily standups, refinements, retrospectives) and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Drive technical clarity: Facilitate technical discussions, bring clarity to requirements, and guide the team toward well-informed technical decisions.
  • Collaborate across functions: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and UX designers—raising risks, offering ideas, and asking the right questions to shape solutions.
  • Lead and develop people: Be the people manager for your squad—providing feedback, supporting career growth, organizing 1:1s, managing performance, and contributing to compensation reviews.
  • Deliver impact: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable, and scalable payment solutions that create exceptional user experiences.

The role reports to the General Manager of Engineering, based in Cyprus. Our team is made up of individuals from all walks of life, each bringing unique experiences and perspectives that enrich our work and culture. We truly value this diversity and are excited to welcome someone who is open-minded, adaptable, and enthusiastic about collaborating in a globally connected and inclusive environment.
