We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Collections to lead our Collections department in Santo Domingo. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the collections operation, driving performance results, and ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Collections department to achieve company recovery goals and maintain operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic collection plans, policies, and procedures to maximize recovery rates while maintaining professionalism and compliance.
- Supervise and mentor Collection Managers and Team Leads through consistent coaching, performance reviews, and training initiatives.
- Monitor team and individual KPIs to ensure productivity and quality standards are consistently met.
- Analyze portfolio performance and identify opportunities for improvement in collection strategies, scripts, and workflows.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish short-term and long-term objectives for the department.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, data protection, and applicable legal or financial regulations.
- Implement continuous improvement practices and introduce process automation or reporting enhancements where possible.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Operations, Finance, and Customer Experience to ensure smooth communication and data integrity.
- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports and executive summaries to leadership.

- Based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (on-site position).
- 7+ years of experience in collections or recovery management roles, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven experience managing large, high-volume call center operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fully bilingual (English and Spanish required).
- In-depth understanding of collection strategies, negotiation techniques, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with CRM, dialer systems, and reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong sense of integrity, accountability, and customer focus.
