About this Role

The Director of Business Development is based in our Puerto Rico office and will play a pivotal role in client acquisition growth, and market expansion through the acquisition and management of strategic partnerships and business opportunities. This role will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with potential partners, negotiating partnership agreements, and executing initiatives to drive mutual value and success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Develop and execute business development plans.
  • Build relationships with potential partner organizations.
  • Manage One Park’s referral program as a subchannel within Business Development.
  • Lead negotiations and execute partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for partner relationships.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities.
  • Track and report on partnership initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

  • Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish).
  • Extensive travel to target markets to build local relationships.
  • Proven track record in business development or partnership roles in fintech or financial services.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with results orientation.

  • Knowledge of small business financing is a plus.
