Dealing Manager – UK shift

The Dealing Manager is responsible for executing client trades accurately and supporting daily dealing operations across multiple asset classes. The role requires strong situational awareness, the ability to remain calm during unexpected events (e.g. system disruptions), and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including overseas counterparts.

This position operates on UK shift hours and plays a critical role in ensuring trading continuity, risk control, and client support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and efficient trade execution from clients for different products, including Singapore and overseas securities, fixed income, futures, funds and margin risk control.
  • Risk monitoring of clients account, monitor trades to ensure compile with Group Compliance Policy and MAS Regulation.
  • Handle enquiries, provide customer support on electronic trading platform.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve trade-related issues.
  • Closely work with product and technology team to develop the trading platform.
  • Perform system testing in UAT environment.
  • Communicate with clearing brokers and other counter parties.
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor and management.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • 5 years of experience in dealing, trading operations, brokerage, or a related financial services function is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Candidates without prior crisis or incident management experience are welcome, provided they demonstrate calm decision-making, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable handling time-sensitive situations and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with financial products such as securities, derivatives, or funds is an advantage.

Licensing

  • CMFAS modules (e.g. M1A, M2A, M5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP) are good to have.
  • Candidates without all required modules may be considered, subject to training and licensing requirements after joining.

Language & Communication

  • Ability to read and type Chinese is required for operational communication with overseas counterparts (e.g. Shenzhen).
  • Language capability is required strictly for job-related operational needs and not a general role requirement.

Work Arrangement

  • Willingness and ability to work UK shift hours, including public holidays where required (shift allowance provided).
