Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Data Standardization & Framework Development
  Establish and enforce company-wide data standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data practices with business needs.
• Data Infrastructure & Pipeline Management
  Design and build scalable ETL pipelines and data warehouses using tools like MySQL, Google Cloud, and AWS. Ensure data integrity and seamless accessibility for analytics.
• Data Analysis & Insights Generation
  Conduct analytics on product, growth, and operations data to identify trends and optimize performance. Partner with teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Data Visualization & Reporting
  Create dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to communicate actionable insights effectively.
• Market Expansion Analytics
  Support business expansion by analyzing data to inform strategies and uncover new opportunities in new markets.

Experience & Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business or data analysis, ideally within the internet, tech, or crypto sectors (3+ years of crypto experience considered).
• Proven experience in product analytics, growth analytics, operations analytics, or data product development.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in data warehouse architecture and ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with tools like MySQL, Google Cloud, AWS, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with statistical analysis software such as R or Python.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Languages:
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (to effectively collaborate across teams and markets).
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
