About the Job

At IPF Digital, we’re on the journey of becoming a skills-based organization – where your capabilities and potential matter more than job titles. We want to know what you’re great at, what excites you, and what you’d like to grow into.

Your purpose is to drive profitable customer growth while effectively managing credit, fraud and operational risk — always balancing performance, scalability, and customer experience. Working alongside talented professionals across risk, credit, and operations, you’ll have the opportunity to innovate, influence decision-making, and make a real impact on business performance.

If you’re passionate about driving results, leading people, and using data to make smart decisions, this is your chance to join a forward-thinking team that values collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Not sure if you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Here’s how you’ll put your skills into action

  • Shaping and owning credit risk strategy: Design, own and continuously evolve the end-to-end credit strategy for our digital business. Balance growth ambitions with portfolio quality, profitability and responsible lending. Apply a test-and-learn mindset, quickly tightening, relaxing or challenging strategies in line with business needs.

  • Data-driven decision making: Analyse complex performance data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities across the credit lifecycle. Translate insights into clear actions, new strategies and measurable outcomes. Own and govern rules, models, scorecards and automated decision systems in collaboration with the global credit hub.

  • Customer-centric, digital-first thinking: Shape the acquisition journey to be as frictionless as possible, while maintaining high credit quality standards. Put customer experience and innovation at the heart of all risk-related decisions. Look for scalable solutions and efficiencies without compromising customer outcomes.

  • Operational ownership and partnerships: Lead underwriting strategy and operations, ensuring high-quality decisions and cost efficiency. Own collections strategy and operations, including relationships with external collection agencies. Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external providers (credit bureaus, fraud and data partners). Ensure robust governance, reporting and openness to challenge and feedback.

We also know that experience counts – and we believe that the following can support your success:

  • Proven track record managing credit risk in a digital or online lending business.

  • Experience designing credit policies, rules, and scorecards.

  • Strong background working with external partners and suppliers (e.g. credit bureaus, data providers).

  • Collections experience is a strong advantage.

  • Experience managing underwriting operations (desirable).

  • Background in digital financial services (desirable).

  • Experience working in international, cross-cultural environments.

  • Exposure to using big data in credit scoring strategies (desirable).

Nice to have skills that will help you thrive in this role

  • Fluent business English (written and spoken).

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and prioritise actions.

  • High ownership mindset — spotting issues and opportunities and acting on them quickly.

  • Ability to influence, challenge and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Creative problem-solver with a curious, improvement-driven mindset.

  • Practical experience with SQL and hands-on analytical work.

  • Flexible and willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.

  • Broad knowledge of credit risk, ideally gained in an online or digital lending environment.

  • Strong understanding of consumer credit regulations and legal requirements.

  • Solid knowledge of credit scoring, analytics, credit systems and decisioning processes.

  • Knowledge of collections systems and processes (desirable).

  • Experience with fraud management, ideally in a digital context.

  • Understanding of tools and technologies supporting credit risk management.
