POSITION OBJECTIVE
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Brand & Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is crucial for establishing and maintaining the visual identity of our F&B subsidiary across all customer touchpoints, from the dining experience to digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, an excellent eye for aesthetics, and the ability to translate our brand strategy into compelling visual content that enhances customer appeal and drives business success.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Branding and Visual Identity
- Maintain and evolve the restaurant's brand identity guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across all print, digital, and in-venue assets.
- Develop new visual concepts, including logos, color palettes, and typography, for special events, new menu items, or brand refreshes.
- Conduct market research on hospitality design trends and competitor branding to keep our visual identity innovative and relevant.
Design and Production
- Design all print and digital marketing collateral, including:
- Menus: Primary menus, specials menus, drink lists, and catering packets (ensuring high readability and strategic layout).
- In-Venue Signage: Posters, banners, table tents, wall art, and directional signage.
- Promotional Materials: Flyers, coupons, advertisements (print and digital), and email newsletter graphics.
- Packaging: Takeout packaging, branded merchandise, and gift cards.
- Create high-quality visual content for all digital platforms, including social media (static graphics, animated content, stories), website assets, and online advertisements.
- Prepare final artwork files for both print and digital production, liaising directly with external vendors (e.g., printers, sign makers) to ensure quality, accurate specifications, and timely delivery.
Collaboration and Management
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Culinary, and Operations teams to understand project briefs, campaign goals, and menu updates.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively and adapting designs as required.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Organize and maintain the company's digital asset library (photos, logos, design files) for easy retrieval and brand control.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, brand consistency, and execution across print and digital mediums.
- Experience working within the hospitality, retail, or a similar fast-paced, consumer-facing industry is highly desirable.
Technical Proficiency
- Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Familiarity with preparing print-ready files (e.g., color profiles, bleeds, packaging specifications).
- Knowledge of basic web and social media asset specifications (e.g., file sizing, optimization).
Soft Skills
- Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for aesthetic detail, particularly in typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas and concepts clearly.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure.
