Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success and seamless operation of a moomoo physical investment store. This leadership role combines strategic business development, operational excellence, and team management to drive customer acquisition, strengthen client relationships, and ensure full compliance with local financial regulations. As the in-store face of the moomoo brand, the Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering a premium client experience and expanding our offline footprint.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & KPI Ownership

  • Take full ownership of branch KPIs and performance targets
  • Develop and execute local business strategies to achieve financial, operational, and growth objectives
  • Respond swiftly to changing market conditions and regulatory developments

Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficiency and service quality
  • Enforce compliance with financial services regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment

Client Relationship Management

  • Lead the team in fostering strong, trust-based client relationships
  • Ensure timely and effective resolution of client issues with a high standard of in-person service
  • Host educational events and client engagement activities to enhance retention and identify upselling opportunities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, coach, and manage a high-performing branch team
  • Build a results-oriented and collaborative team culture
  • Design and implement ongoing training in compliance, product knowledge, and client servicing

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (client growth, sales metrics, service satisfaction)
  • Derive actionable insights from data and market trends to improve branch effectiveness
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and tech teams to refine branch-level strategy

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Lead in-store promotions, workshops, and local roadshows
  • Support brand positioning efforts through strategic marketing partnerships
  • Represent moomoo in community and industry events to attract high-net-worth individuals and strategic partners

  • 5–8 years of experience in financial services, ideally within retail brokerage, wealth management, or in-store financial sales; candidates with regular investment habits are highly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing physical store operations and leading frontline teams
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and drive team performance
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and investment products
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to the country of operation
  • RG 146 certification is essential for this role; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain it (sponsorship provided by the company)
  • Native-level proficiency in English; business-level proficiency in a second language (e.g. Mandarin or Cantonese) is a strong plus
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
  • Experience in high-growth or start-up environments is highly regarded
  • Proven ability to work effectively in global teams and multicultural settings
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional initiatives and collaboration across departments
