Assistant Relationship Manager, private wealth

As an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM), you will provide critical support to Relationship Managers (RMs) in managing client relationships, delivering a seamless client experience, and ensuring operational excellence. This role is designed for individuals with strong attention to detail, client-first mindset, and ambition to grow into a frontline Relationship Manager role.

Responsibilities

Client Support & Servicing

  • Assist Relationship Managers in daily client servicing, including account opening, onboarding, trade execution support, and general queries.
  • Prepare meeting materials, investment proposals, and portfolio reviews for clients.
  • Track and follow up on client instructions, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

Business Development Support

  • Support RMs in identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities across products (equities, bonds, funds, structured notes, alternatives).
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, referral initiatives, and client events to deepen client engagement.
  • Conduct basic client and market research to support prospecting and lead generation.

Operational & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, MAS regulations, and AML/KYC requirements.
  • Monitor account activities, flag anomalies, and support risk-mitigation measures.
  • Maintain accurate and updated client records in CRM and reporting systems.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Investment Consultants, Product Specialists, and Business Support teams to deliver holistic solutions.
  • Assist in coordination of events, seminars, and campaigns to enhance Private Wealth branding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, engineering or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services (internships considered for fresh graduates with strong aptitude).
  • Strong client-service mindset with excellent communication skills in English, and high proficiency in Mandarin
  • Good understanding of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • MAS-recognized CMFAS certifications (M1A, M2, M5, M6, M6A) preferred or able to obtain soonest within probation.
