About the role
The Assistant Manager, PR & Content Strategy, will support external communications initiatives that enhance brand credibility and support evolving business priorities in Thailand.
This role centres on media relations, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing to communications planning for upcoming initiatives and market-facing developments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with organisational standards. You will work closely with internal teams, regional counterparts, and external partners to facilitate effective communication efforts and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Assistant Manager, PR & Content Strategy
Responsibilities
Media Relations & External Positioning
- Support the development and execution of public relations activities to strengthen media visibility
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and industry media, particularly within business and financial publications
- Pitch story ideas and coordinate press materials to secure relevant coverage
- Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews
- Monitor coverage, sentiment, and share of voice, and prepare regular insights reports
Communications Planning & Strategic Support
- Support communications planning by aligning activities with organisational priorities and evolving business needs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to prepare for external announcements through structured message planning and coordination.
- Monitor the media and competitive landscape to identify trends, risks, and opportunities relevant to communications.
- Synthesise market and media insights into practical strategy that strengthen communication effectiveness.
- Anticipate communication requirements and help ensure organisational readiness for time-sensitive developments.
- Provide communications support for events, media briefings, and related activities
Corporate Messaging & Content Development
- Draft and refine press releases, speeches, executive communications, and corporate materials with a high standard of clarity and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain core messaging that supports a consistent and credible external voice.
- Ensure communications are appropriately calibrated for different audiences while remaining aligned with organisational positioning.
- Translate complex business and market topics into clear, accessible narratives for external stakeholders.
- Uphold brand and regulatory standards across all outward-facing materials.
Issues & Reputation Management
- Support the preparation of communication guidelines and response materials for sensitive situations
- Assist in monitoring public sentiment and identifying potential reputational risks
- Contribute to the development of response approaches aimed at ensuring timely and accurate communications
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track PR outcomes and campaign performance using both quantitative and qualitative measures
- Prepare structured reports with actionable insights for internal stakeholders
- Maintain communications calendars, documentation, and trackers to support operational continuity
- 4–6 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations
- Demonstrated success working with media and managing external communications
- Strong writing and storytelling capabilities with excellent attention to detail
- Experience operating in regulated industries — such as financial services or fintech — is advantageous
- Highly organised with strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities
